A Father’s Day Poem To My Husband
When I came to you I was so ragged and torn,
but you saw past the chains and shame that I had worn.
You took me in your arms just as I was,
with no rhyme or reason, just because.
For me you are the best husband, provider, lover and friend,
my devotion to you will never end.
As you looked at me your eyes told the story,
of a love so deep I never had to worry.
Your love for me I never had to doubt,
your actions taught me what love was all about.
Throughout the years you were always faithful,
for this my heart is always grateful.
To our children a good father you have been,
because of that they will always win.
All good things come from above,
to me the best gift ever is your love.
