Welcome to Inspired Talk Today!
When our kids were young, we used to read all kinds of children’s books. Some of the kids’ favorites were Green Eggs and Ham, Are You My Mother, and Love You Forever.
I later told my husband I wanted to write children’s books. I inquired about it, jotted down some thoughts but never followed through.
Years later, I said to my husband “I want to write a book.” Again I jotted down a few pages and never followed through. Then some time after this, I told my husband I wanted to write a book about marriage. Again, I jotted down some thoughts…and you know the rest.
Over the years my desire to write never stopped. Every morning, I set aside some time for a daily devotion. During that time, I read my Bible and write down my thoughts. There were many mornings that after reading and spending time with the Lord I would send a group text to my family that contained inspirational and encouraging thoughts.
My husband and I also began to do devotions together. We began to seek and ask the Lord for guidance, wisdom, and for new doors to open in our lives; doors that would allow us to use the gifts that God has given us, and to glorify His name by pointing people towards Him. God was faithful; he was faithful to show me that he puts desires in our hearts for a reason.
This is how Inspired Talk Today evolved!
I look forward to sharing with you things I have learned from the Lord, people, and other experiences along the way. Here you will be able to get your daily dose of inspiration and guidance.
My goal is to blog every few days at first, and then work my way up to blogging every day. I ask that you be patient with me as I begin this new adventure.

| Earlier I wrote a small portion on how this blog came to be. Now I will share my heart, on what this blog will be about. This is a personal blog. It will be about people, places, and things that I find interesting and enjoy. I want this blog to be uplifting, interesting, and contain food for thought. It may get deep at times, when I share my beliefs. Again, this is a personal blog; these are my opinions and beliefs. I will not debate, or force them on anyone. This blog will not talk about politics. I will practice my constitutional right to vote. But, no matter what party is elected to be president, senator, etc., I will continue to pray for our country, and our leaders.
