Are you tight fisted or open handed when it comes to holding on to things of this world? Some of those things could be riches, possessions and positions. But other possessions of the heart could also be our children and loved ones. Remember, the safest place for all things is in the hands of Jesus.
The Bible says in 1 Colossians 3:22; “Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.”
So as we give our cares and concerns to God and we set our minds on things above, it is there we will find our hearts also.
As a result, we will have a desire and the ability to live life in faith and service to God, and to others.
“Those who God uses the most are the ones who hold on to the least.“
