House Plants And Their Benefits

Benefits of plants and their beauty
“He has made everything beautiful in its time.” – Ecclesiastes 3:11

This is the time of year when I indulge myself with houseplants. Thankfully, I share this common interest with my youngest daughter, my brother and my niece which makes my indulgence more interesting and fun.

My daughter and I are currently looking for the perfect plants to put in our terrariums. After researching, we realized there are a few different types of terrariums. So, the first step is to decide which type I want, a tropical moist terrarium or a dry succulent type.

While I was doing research on the best plants to use for each type, I came across some interesting articles and information that I thought I would share.

For instance, a study done in 2015 revealed that houseplants may reduce psychological and physiological stress. Also, colorful indoor plants may improve your overall mood. And who couldn’t use an extra mood boast in the midst of a chaotic world?

Below you’ll find photos of a few of my favorites this year, and tips on how to care for them.
